Developing the economy and carrying out construction in mountainous areas is undoubtedly far more difficult than in a water-rich large plain like Fort Erie. Yet the people in these mountain villages have still managed to achieve a relatively happy life over the past few decades. The fundamental reason lies in the following:
The government does not collect a single cent in property taxes or fees from the people, nor does it levy agricultural taxes. It also imposes no restrictions on the height or design of houses people build. On the contrary, because farmers still lack mechanized operations, the government even provides subsidies to support their agricultural work.
Politically, direct democracy has been implemented across rural areas nationwide for more than 20 years, although it is still under the control of local Party committees. In particular, the great new birth in the economic field — democratic economy — has not yet been implemented, which is why development can only maintain a relative advantage.
As long as Fort Erie fully implements our campaign platform and the scientific plans and strategies outlined in the Ten Major Columns, we will surely achieve immediate results. We will rapidly surpass China and all other places in the world, and become a shining beacon of happiness for all humanity!
