Gentle Reminder

Only by maintaining balance can there be harmony, and only then can there be permanence! This is true of nature, of human society, and even more so of all living organisms, including human physiology.

This is why, in nature, many plants can live for thousands or even tens of thousands of years, or even not die at all, and among animals there are also those that live for hundreds or thousands of years—this follows the laws of nature as well as the principles of biology and physics! Living beings are life forms composed of cells, their genes, and functional systems. All components, functions, and activities exist and operate instinctively around the pursuit of infinite survival (there is fundamentally no such thing as a short-lived gene). They can often passively maintain physiological balance and thus achieve health and longevity. As long as some organisms and animals can already live such long lives, it implies that all organisms and animals can tend toward infinite longevity.

In reality, many plants and the vast majority of animals fail to live long lives only because plants cannot move and thus cannot avoid droughts, storms, freezing conditions, and other extreme weather—especially human destruction of the natural environment. In the animal world, the struggle for survival and death prevents them from achieving ecological balance in their external environment. Internally, they do not understand scientific living; they eat indiscriminately when hungry and cannot avoid microorganisms and pathogens, making it impossible to maintain physiological balance. Imbalance leads to internal disorder; when disorder exceeds half, quantitative change turns into qualitative change, illness becomes severe, and results in an irreversible, accelerating decline toward death.

Fortunately, as animals endowed with intelligence and dexterous hands, humans can anticipate and avoid harm and pursue true health comprehensively. Therefore, humans ought to live the longest lives, and only need to maintain physiological balance once physiological maturity is reached. By the same reasoning, this requires:

An external environment without life-and-death competition, without oppressive regimes or criminals that keep people in constant tension, but instead universal peace and harmonious interaction. This requires a system that can make all people feel like one family. At the same time, internal physiological life must conform to natural laws, with all functional systems operating normally. This requires governance guided by science, which alone can be impartial and selfless—science recognizes no national boundaries, hierarchies, or selfish motives, and is based solely on natural laws and logical reasoning.

As advanced animals, humans must first rely on the most sensitive and important nervous system to maintain instinctive normal functioning at all times, in all places, and in all matters:

The nervous system is the frontline through which life contacts the external world, the coordination mechanism of basic functions, and the command center of all activities. Only by keeping the nervous system functioning smoothly can physiological health and mental normality be maintained.

Everyone has three major nervous systems: the autonomic nervous system, the central nervous system (including mirror neurons), and the peripheral nervous system that conducts their signals. These systems should interact and coordinate seamlessly to enable optimal human life.

The autonomic nervous system is also called the vegetative nervous system because its response patterns reflect the instinctive physiology of plants: upright and upward—neither parasitic nor dependent; equal response—no lying; self-reliance—standing on one’s own feet rather than taking from others; fairness—seeking only self-balance. Only in this way can all coexist without conflict, bringing about fairness for all. With fairness, individuals can unite into a mutually supportive, exponentially powerful, and extraordinarily beautiful forest. As long as everyone maintains these primary normal responses of the vegetative nervous system, physiology will become orderly, relaxed, and natural. The central nervous system will then command efficiently and effectively, allowing physiological balance and preventing decline. In particular, mirror neurons instinctively produce empathetic responses to the external world—sympathizing with the weak and being emotionally moved by circumstances. This is also a primary instinct of the central nervous system. Only when the central nervous system remains synchronized and coordinated with one’s autonomic nervous system, especially mirror neurons, can the mind be joyful. Then people will remain youthful and vibrant; even the elderly may gradually rejuvenate, becoming younger over time, eventually surpassing animals and approaching the longevity of plants!

Conversely, going against these instinctive responses of the autonomic nervous system—becoming parasitic, lying, engaging in deceit, greedily occupying or monopolizing others’ people, wealth, or goods, and establishing hierarchical systems of oppression—requires forcing the central nervous system to oppose, suppress, and distort the vegetative nervous system. This traps the vegetative and central nervous systems in severe conflict. The central nervous system must not only go against its own vegetative responses but also suppress its mirror neuron responses. The harm to oneself is fatal. Although modern medicine has not yet clinically confirmed this, such self-abuse is no different from chronic suicide! How could the body not decline and perish?!

When the central nervous system operates in reverse, it distorts the mind—this uniquely human energy not only becomes negative energy, but over time inevitably leads to neurological and psychological disorders. Even if the body has not died, happiness of the spirit has already perished!

In contrast, the broad masses living under such reactionary hierarchical and dictatorial systems are forced to go against their vegetative nervous system and cannot satisfy the demands of their mirror neurons. This results only in varying degrees of harm to their autonomic nervous system and does not alter their genes (since genes normally record and pass on active, habitual behavioral patterns). As long as people continue to adhere in thought and action to the instinctive requirements of uprightness, self-reliance, fairness, and unity—and follow the empathy and compassion of mirror neurons—the body can still heal itself. Only those who actively betray their own neural responses will form habits that deeply damage physiology, eventually altering and degrading their genetic sequences, making them beyond cure. This is the fatal reason why emperors and privileged classes throughout history, despite enjoying comfort through monopolizing others’ wealth and a kind of “happiness” in negative energy, and exhausting all methods (especially within a scientific community also governed by hierarchical authoritarianism), can only rely on circular reasoning about short lifespans in pursuit of longevity, yet ultimately live no longer than ordinary people.

Life is accumulated day by day and night by night. Qualitative change is the inevitable result of accumulated quantitative change. Therefore, do not fail to do good because it is small, and do not do evil because it is small. Please think carefully before acting.
